Leadership & Guidance of The Church

Our team is a multidisciplinary group of facilitators, educators, and operational leaders devoted to holding this work with integrity, clarity, and care. Each team member brings a unique blend of professional expertise and lived experience, bridging sacred practice with grounded support to ensure that our community is both responsibly held and deeply human. Together, we steward the systems, ceremonies, and relationships that allow members to feel safe, informed, and supported as they engage in meaningful personal and spiritual exploration.

Benjamin Moore

Co-Executive Director & Co-Founder

Benjamin Moore is a former U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, the Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of The Sacred Synthesis, serving as a medicine man and playing a vital role in the church’s development, vision, and ceremonial leadership. With years of experience in entheogenic facilitation, spiritual guidance, and community stewardship, he helps shape the ethical, educational, and sacramental frameworks that define the church’s mission and member experience. His aim is to help end suicide and unnecessary suffering while increasing quality of life by empowering people to optimize their human experience and reengage life with meaning, stability, and peace.

Cynthia Cramblett

Co-Executive Director & Priestess

Cynthia Cramblett is the Co-Executive Director and a Priestess of The Sacred Synthesis, guiding the church’s spiritual essence, member experience, and ceremonial integrity. With a background in somatic healing, intimacy coaching, energy work, and years of entrepreneurial leadership, she brings both vision and execution to the organization. She weaves reverence, embodiment, and care into the church’s sacraments, community programs, and integrative pathways, while her keen eye for community strategy supports the growth of a spiritually grounded, heart-led culture within The Sacred Synthesis. She is also the host of the Her Drive podcast, a space for unfiltered conversations with women who have forged their own paths through courage, creativity, and resilience.

Ian Benouis, Esq.

Co-Founder

Carla R. Crochet

Bookkeeping & Member Services

Carla Romero is a core member of the Church’s team, serving as both bookkeeper and a key part of Member Services. With a background in nonprofit bookkeeping and addiction counseling, she brings precision, integrity, and compassionate presence to the systems that support the Church’s daily operations and community care.


Alongside her administrative work, Carla has experience facilitating psychedelic containers and holding ceremonial space with sacraments.

Eira Hassim

Member Outreach

Eira brings more than 15 years of experience in marketing and the digital space to Sacred Synthesis. She guides the way we communicate our mission by offering thoughtful strategic direction for our marketing campaigns and helping shape the voice of the church with clarity and care.

Quiet, easygoing, and grounded, Eira naturally sees the good in every situation. She has a talent for finding opportunities where others might see challenges. Her work involves weaving meaningful stories and narratives across all areas of the brand, including marketing and operations. She focuses on creating campaigns that feel connected, intentional, and true to who we are.

Eira’s intuitive and heart-centered approach helps build trust and fosters a sense of belonging, making sure every piece of communication reflects the spirit of Sacred Synthesis and invites others to feel at home within it.

Fenella Corinne

Executive Assistant

Fenella is the behind-the-scenes powerhouse who keeps everything running like a well-oiled machine here at The Sacred Synthesis. Known for her quick wit, calm energy, and “don’t-worry-I-got-this” attitude, she’s the kind of person who turns chaos into color-coded calendars and last-minute changes into smooth sailing.
When she’s not managing schedules or making sure the details actually happen, Fenella’s probably sipping iced coffee, curating playlists that boost productivity, or plotting her next travel adventure (with a spreadsheet, obviously).
She’s the quiet backbone of every big success – the one making sure no email gets lost, no call goes unanswered, and every day feels just a little bit more organized for our Team and Members.

Ian Benouis, Esq.

Co-Founder
Ian is a West Point graduate, former US Army officer, Blackhawk helicopter pilot and combat veteran. He is Patient Number One at the Mission Within which treats special operators with PTSD, TBI and addiction using iboga and Bufo in Mexico. He is an advisor there, after being the General Counsel and spearheading the veteran healing program. Ian has been helping wounded veterans for over 8 years. He participated in Operation Just Cause in the Republic of Panama, the largest combat operation in US history focused directly on the War on Drugs. Ian founded an ONAC church chapter which was later returned to the parent church. He is a founder of a Santo Daime church which is the US chapter of a Brazilian government approved church and between himself and his law partner Greg Lake have created over sixty entheogenic churches around the US. Ian was a pharmaceutical representative for Pfizer after he got out of the Army witnessing firsthand the meteoric rise of the SSRI’s and synthetic opioids in the 1990’s.
